The team at Reviewed.com/USA Today wanted to visualize a disparate set of data to convey how complex the Smart Home market is. We came up with this solution showing how challenging it is to get your Smart Home appliances to work properly with an ecosystem.

This information graphic was created for the Spring 2016 issue of Capital Ideas Magazine. The infographic provides a data-driven examination of how competitiveness is a significant factor in the existence of the gender gap.

I worked closely with the magazine art director and editor in a truly collaborative project where a large set of data was synthesized, organized and designed to create an elegant story of the recent decline of VW due to the emissions scandal. The spread was featured in Capital Ideas magazine across two pages and was also stacked and repurposed as a digital infographic.

I worked with editors at University of Chicago - Booth School to design this polar diagram which shows the multitude of strategies that private equity managers use to do their work. We spent quite a bit of time drafting this, ultimately concluding the circular polar diagram solution was the best way to stimulate interest in the visual.
